About my photography
I like landscapes, the countryside in all seasons, villages and visits to towns. I look for what appeals to me mainly in Kent and Sussex.
The current project A Year in the Life of Sheppey is part of that interest so I will include an album of pictures that appeal to me on the site.
I am not a professional but I do enjoy taking pictures of the places I visit and like anybody else like to keep a visual record of what I like about the places I visit. Kent and Sussex is an area of especial beauty that although maybe not as spectacular as the popular places in the UK has a charm all of its own. All seasons have something to offer and judging by the numbers of walkers my sister and I meet on our wandering excursions the area is as popular as any other.
We like it.
However, the pictures I take are getting better and I am steadily discovering what I like to record: and that must be what everybody using a camera is looking for - their special place.
